So, Who was: GLITIUS DECIANUS? Glitius Decianus was a 33 year old, equestrian, holding the Imperial appointment of Procurator of Belgica. This meant that he was in charge of the finance of the province and answerable to the Emperor rather than the Senate. As an equestrian he was lower than the Senators in status but still a wealthy man by the standards of the Empire as a whole. By Senatorial standards his wealth was modest (3 Talents per quarter as personal income).

His unit were a recently formed tank unit of the East German Volkspolizei (there is no East German army at this point). He said that although they had no money they could provide goods that would more than adequately provide compensation for the services that they used. A deal was done and the East Germans visited on a few occasions.
