Welcome to James Kemp's Wiki
This is a collaborative web platform that allows people to edit1) the web pages to provide additional content for some of the stories I have written and the roleplaying games that I am involved in, whether as a player or GM.
There are several namespaces operating slightly different wiki subjects. These are, in no particular order:
- Skyss - Story Background - a fantasy novel I wrote for NaNoWriMo 2016.
- Perfects - background for the near future story and some police roleplaying that I ran in that universe
- Theocracy of Daprav - A D&D campaign that I ran with Glasgow University Games Society around 2002-3.
- Jim Wallman's Universe - a roleplaying by e-mail campaign that I play in, this is an unofficial wiki and none of it is canon unless Jim says it is.
- Interstellar Freelance Unlimited - subset of the Universe pages covering the activities of a mercenary company that we are currently roleplaying every Full Moon.
- Earth Imperium pages. These cover the activities of the Government of the Solar republic (aka Earth Empire) in Jim's Humanity Will Prevail campaign, including the Earth Imperium News Items.
- Free Worlds Alliance - covering the activities of another emerging polity in the Humanity Will Prevail campaign. Mostly contributed by Eric Moroney.
- Universe Background - page collecting the various bits of background info that have come up in various e-mail discussions for the campaigns set in Jim Wallman's Universe.
- Master map of the Universe (6Mb PDF, as at 3212).
- Delta Green - some roleplaying campaigns about horror and conspiracy. The main one was set in Berlin in 1953.
- Free games rules - a collection of free rules for wargames and other sorts of face to face games that I have designed or run.
- Wargames rules - I'm not just a player of games, I also do rules for them from time to time as well as one-off games. A primary outlet for this is through Chestnut Lodge Wargames Group.
- Other free rules - at the moment just those for the 1689 (Orange or Lemon? and Bonnie Dundee, respectively about the debates in the Scots Parliament and then the military campaign of Viscount Dundee during 1689) and The Other Side of the COIN (about what makes people become insurgents). All games that I have have produced for Chestnut Lodge Wargames Group.
- Background for a near future universe where I have written some fiction and also run some roleplaying games in.

Mark Whitely
Whitely was shot dead by Chief Inspector Sophia Young in a dawn raid on a terraced house in East London on 23rd April 2046. The body was stripped of ID but running fingerprints and facial recognition (on what was left after a headshot) gave a 1:1 match with this identity.
Warning Flag
Whitely triggered a GREEN REPORT flag on the police watch list when the ID was matched. The reason given was 'Foreign Military Contractor in UK'. Links to UK Border Security Command and UK Visa data show his employer as Monck Security.
Biography
Mark Whitley was born in Newfoundland 26 Jul 2009.
He joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 2028 and served as an infantryman. He did the Commando course and then trained as a mortar fire controller. He left the CAF with the rank of Corporal in 2034.
He worked for Monck Security from late 2041 until just before his death.
Immigration History
He has been a regular visitor to the UK over the last ten years, mainly in transit. However in the last five years he has had a year of working out of the UK where he spent most of the time here in FY 2043-4. At the time he was contracted to Monck for a two year period which finished early.
In the last two years (since the visa was curtailed early, for administrative reasons) he has visited on a three monthly basis for 3-4 weeks at a time. All of the travel recorded is either direct flights to Tripoli from Gatwick or train travel to the continent.

Regulations on Police Evidence 2045
Commonly referred to as RoPE 45. The regulations were updated following the UKIP manifesto commitment from the 2044 General Election and are intended to strike the right balance between the powers of the police and the rights and freedoms of the public. Maintaining that balance is a central element of RoPE.
The RoPE codes of practice cover:
- stop and search
- arrest & detention
- investigation
- identification
- interviewing detainees
Lt. Jacob 'Crackers' Kampf
Earther marine officer, formerly of the 130th Earther Marine Regiment. Wanted criminal having escaped custody for unspecified crimes. Played by James.
Current Position
One of the Lost 130th, Kampf is wanted by the Earth authorities.

Career History
Kampf served as a combat engineer in Ground Forces before joining the Starship Marines. He had a number of postings before joining the now legendary 130th Earther Marine Regiment aboard the ESS Agamemnon. He distinguished himself in a number of actions and was with the 130th Regiment on the notorious Operation Blackberry.
Kampf was incarcerated with most of 130EMR following Op Blackberry. Along with a number of other members of the regiment he broke out of captivity and has been on the run from the Earther authorities since 3199. Although the activities of 130EMR on Op Blackberry have since been declassified, and the remaining members of the regiment pardoned. As one of the 'Lost 130th' the pardon does not apply to Kampf or his comrades. If captured Kampf will be involuntarily mind-wiped.
Other Information
As well as having been a combat engineer, Kampf is trained in damage control.
