Armed Forces of the Imperium

The Imperial Armed Forces are subordinate to the Ministry of Defence and are controlled through two intermediate bodies:

• The Admiralty, and
• The General Staff.

The Admiralty controls the IEN, which comprises hundred of vessels from destroyers to battleships.

The Admiralty also controls the Earth Marine Corps, which comprise all ship-board Marine Regiments, several Independent Marine Regiments in each Quadrant, and one Special Forces Regiment (the Deep Space Force).

The General Staff controls the Imperial Army, which comprises the Ground Force Divisions, the Internal Security Divisions, the Mobile Assault Brigades and two Special Forces Regiments.

There are also two Guard Regiments, one subordinate directly to the First Citizen and the other to the Senate.

Lastly the IAO controls a mixture of space and ground forces specialising in internal security and making sure that audits can be securing conducted.
