He has been in Quadrant 7 since 3195.367 when he was appointed Deputy Imperial Governor General. He was then elected to the Senate in the 3201 elections after which he was confirmed as the Governor General. |

===== Early Career =====
He served in Quadrant 3 as the deputy assistant comptroller with special responsibility for Administration Expenditure from 3172-3, he was then promoted to Principal Officer in the Sector Challenge Division. He returned to Sol in 3176 and worked in the Emigration Policy Division before being posted to Quadrant 6 in 3179 to be the Private Secretary to the Colonial Governor, a post which he held until the retirement of the Governor at which time he was promoted to Assistant Secretary heading the Internal Security Division in Q6.

Sir Humphrey returned to the Colonial Office in 3183 where he headed the Personnel Services Division and personally ran the posting of senior civil servants in the Colonial Office. From there he moved to be the Principal Private Secretary to the Colonial Secretary in 3187 until his promotion in 3191 to Principal Establishments Officer for the Colonial Office. From there he became a probationary Senator and was appointed the Deputy Imperial Governor General for Quadrant 7.
