Welcome to James Kemp's Wiki
This is a collaborative web platform that allows people to edit1) the web pages to provide additional content for some of the stories I have written and the roleplaying games that I am involved in, whether as a player or GM.
There are several namespaces operating slightly different wiki subjects. These are, in no particular order:
- Skyss - Story Background - a fantasy novel I wrote for NaNoWriMo 2016.
- Perfects - background for the near future story and some police roleplaying that I ran in that universe
- Theocracy of Daprav - A D&D campaign that I ran with Glasgow University Games Society around 2002-3.
- Jim Wallman's Universe - a roleplaying by e-mail campaign that I play in, this is an unofficial wiki and none of it is canon unless Jim says it is.
- Interstellar Freelance Unlimited - subset of the Universe pages covering the activities of a mercenary company that we are currently roleplaying every Full Moon.
- Earth Imperium pages. These cover the activities of the Government of the Solar republic (aka Earth Empire) in Jim's Humanity Will Prevail campaign, including the Earth Imperium News Items.
- Free Worlds Alliance - covering the activities of another emerging polity in the Humanity Will Prevail campaign. Mostly contributed by Eric Moroney.
- Universe Background - page collecting the various bits of background info that have come up in various e-mail discussions for the campaigns set in Jim Wallman's Universe.
- Master map of the Universe (6Mb PDF, as at 3212).
- Delta Green - some roleplaying campaigns about horror and conspiracy. The main one was set in Berlin in 1953.
- Free games rules - a collection of free rules for wargames and other sorts of face to face games that I have designed or run.
- Wargames rules - I'm not just a player of games, I also do rules for them from time to time as well as one-off games. A primary outlet for this is through Chestnut Lodge Wargames Group.
- Other free rules - at the moment just those for the 1689 (Orange or Lemon? and Bonnie Dundee, respectively about the debates in the Scots Parliament and then the military campaign of Viscount Dundee during 1689) and The Other Side of the COIN (about what makes people become insurgents). All games that I have have produced for Chestnut Lodge Wargames Group.
- Background for a near future universe where I have written some fiction and also run some roleplaying games in.

T80 - Ashanti Assures Hookum
First Minister Ashanti left Sol today to travel to Hookum in Quadrant 1 to campaign in the referendum for the retention of Hookum's membership of the Solar Republic and Earth Empire.
While in the Quadrant the First Minister will also be visiting the Free Worlds Alliance who are close neighbours of the imperial systems in Quadrant 1.

T79 - Davo Delight
The First Minister was delighted to welcome Davo to the Empire. He sent his personal congratulations to the people in the system and said that he was always encouraged when people wanted to belong to the Earth Empire, the heart of humanity.

Robert Stassen Jr.
From the Free Worlds Alliance, former lawyer, Admiral and current Secretary of the Navy. He is an NPC
Current Position
On 3209.080, he was appointed Secretary of the Navy by Chairman William Jackson. Secretary of the Navy is a new position created by Jackson as part of his reorganization proposal. Stassen is the first person so appointed.
Biographical Details
Robert Patrick Stassen Jr. was born on Radhakrishnan on 3150.195. He had a brief career as an attorney before joining the Radhakrishnan Navy.

He was the head of Radhakrishnan's military before the creation of the SWDA, which included a C5A, Pac squadron and militia forces. He retired after a few years of service as an SWDA Admiral. He was generally regarded as a fine organizer, but an uninspired tactician.

T78 - First Minister Welcomes Spike to the Family
The First Minister sent his warmest wishes to the people of Spike who have recently voted to join the Earth Empire family. Speaking in the Senate he said that it was highly encouraging that there were still many people wishing to join together in making a better future for humanity.

T78 - Earth Increases Contribution to Long Range Detection Group
Earth increased its contribution to the Long Range Detection Group by a further two interstellar logistics support ships to make good the shortfall caused by the failure of the RNV Navy to provide its agreed contribution.

These forces would not seem suitable for the current requirement.
The MDF CSSI are better allocated to the S&B effort underway, and it is suggested that this offer be passed to PM Young for consultation.
The GFA Scout Squadron is too costly in Logs support for too little scouting capability.
The ALSIs again provide little capability for too great a cost.
Operational Orders
The initial operating forces will be available in the area at the end of 3210, but only the two long range (self supporting) SSXI will be able to commence recce operations until the base is up and running at the end of 3211.
The FOB is located 0.5HY (200 days transit) from HEB Central
Phase One
3211.001 Two SSXI will initially conduct maximum stealth M25 surveillance of the two Key HEB Systems monitoring any broadcasts and in-system burns. Initial surveillance will be for 100 days. These will be reported back to the FOB. Phase one reporting should therefore be back with the FOB at 3212.001.
Phase Two
3212.001 Two SCI will be detached to replace the SSXI ay the KHEB Systems (eta 3212.200) These two SCI will remain on station for a further 200 days unreplaced on a rolling schedule by further vessels as they become available.
3212.001 Two further SCI will start conducting crawling recce inwards from the FOB spending 200 days on the M25 of each system to build up a data picture.
Phase Three
3212.200 The two SSXI will be utilised for ad hoc recce and surveillance.
Phase Four
Beyond this initial start up tasking the local on scene commander will conduct the operation as he deems most productive (and always ensuring the security of the colony).
